Bronchulitis

Emelia had another good day of being diaperless, but Caitlin caught a virus yesterday. Luckily she had an appointment scheduled for today for a flu shot. It appears that she caught bronchulitis (not bronchitis) and it is still early. She’ll have to use a nebulizer to relieve her lungs and keep the coughing down. Unlike bronchitis, which is an inflamation of the bronchial tubes (the big lung airways), this is an inflamation of the smaller, bronchules.
On top of that she still has an ear infection. We should never have listened to the “doctor” on call as he gave us bad advice. We were told to stop the medicine and wait it out. What we should have done was stop the medicine and head back the office on Monday to get a new script.
Parenting Tip #1: When all else fails with kids use your best judgement, because you’re almost always going to do the right thing.

I would agree. Always go with your gut. You are logical peeps so you’ll almost always be right.
