Grossness Update

On a more gross subject, the medicine that I’m on is doing wonders. It’s not that I’m on something new, but being on the same medicines for longer is starting to have a noticeable impact. The steroids are opening up my sinuses, thus releasing all of the backed up mucus and yucky crap that has been collecting up there for years. Over the weekend I was finally seeing some payoff for rinsing my sinuses twice a day. It was actually washing out some crap. Then tonight a whole bunch came out without even having to rinse. It’s no worse than dealing with a congested nose when sick. It’s totally gross, but totally cool at the same time. 
Other than my sense of smell and ability to breath through my nose coming back last month, this is the first tangible sign of progress I’ve seen lately. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I don’t have to undergo surgery.
