Backyard Disaster – POTD

This is pretty much how most of my backyard looks. Poor soil, a dry summer season and grubs have taken their toll.

    Thats how mine looked too! We planted some grass after laying down 3 yards of loam and voila we now have lots of weeds and a little grass. Green is green I guess.:d

    We’ll probably do the same in the back yard, but the front is doing well. The best thing we did so far was hook up an automatic sprinkler timer. One in back and one in front. They control up to four sprinkler at a time and are fairly configurable. This had made watering the seedlings easier and the grass has never been greener. At least in front.
