Potty Training

Just a quick word about Emelia. We’ve started her back on potty training and she’s doing great. She’s much better at figuring out when she has to go and what she has to do. She’s also eager to use the potty. The novelty has worn off so it’s down to business. I look forward to the day that we can stop with the diapers for at least one kid. Changing diapers changes to running around trying to find a place to use, but that requires less baggage and costs less too.
Poor Emelia got bit by another kid at daycare today. They won’t tell me who did it, but Emelia is old enough to tell me the name of the kid. It’s a shame since Emelia went through a phase where she tried to bite another kid, but she’s beyond that now. The kid that she named likes her, but the feeling is not mutual. I’m not sure why the other kid bit her, but I hope it does not happen again. Emelia does have an ugly mark on her body because of it. I’m sure it hurt.
