Emelia’s New Bed

The bed is made up of the front (foot board) and back (head board) of Emelia’s original crib along with a matching set of bed rails and support bars. It’s an amazingly well made bed. Very sturdy and very stiff. The joints are very tight so there is no give. I’ve slept on a couple times and it is far better than my bed. Oh well. We’ll get a nice bed set one of these years. Check out the nice quilt that Sue got Emelia. Nice colors and plenty of embroidered flowers. (The red thingy in the back helps Emelia get up and down from the bed. It’s too tall to get on otherwise.)

Caitlin’s crib will also be converted into a bed once she’s old enough. After nine months it seems the rails we ordered for her are finally coming in.
