Here’s our little artist hard at work. She’s really putting her easel to work. We’ve gone through plenty of paper, but have moved on to using the chalk board. This is by far her favorite (at the moment) and she’s quite good at it too. The chalk is a little dusty, but not too bad. It’s easier to clean up than marker. She also likes that she can clean the board herself before drawing and writing more.
Emelia’s hair is growing wild these days. It’s getting longer, but it’s almost always a mess. It does make her look more mature though. I think her body is playing catch-up with her brain. She’s only 25 months old and can very clearly sing the alphabet song, including the ending and count to ten. Not bad. She’s also a talker. She cannot yet grasp certain concepts, but she can converse about her day and what she’s going to do later. She’s also remembering things more. Much like James, if you say that you’re going to do something with her (in a day or two) she will remember what you said and hold you to it. No more fooling this little kid.

I have seen pictures like that before,, somewhere,, oh yes,, now I remember,, they were on my albums done with green crayon by two talented small artists. I guess it is now time to buy the little one some very nice and big markers to assist her with her talents. HMMMMM
Just kidding.

She has taken her chalk and crayons to the walls and cabinets. Thankfully, I learned that WD-40 does wonders taking off crayon and chalk doesn’t really leave marks.
Emelia really does to do many things. Drawing, mashing playdoh and being creative are right up her alley. Makes me curious what she’s going to do as an adult.
