Even at 38 weeks Sue still had enough stamina to whip out a wonderful New Year dinner. Of course I helped her, but she wielded the knife and did all the actual cooking. I was her other pair of hands running around the kitchen grabbing and cleaning ingredients, washing dishes and wrapping the finished dishes in nice dishes and plastic wrap.
Clockwise starting at the top left: Tilapia fish, sweet and sour shrimp, pork ribs (made in advance), tofu with gluten, beef with mushrooms, pork with Chinese leeks and kung pao chicken. It was all delicious!
Mike, Amy and James came over for dinner with us. In fact, Amy took Emelia from me at daycare allowing me to help Sue with dinner. The kids had a great time and adults ate like pigs.
Here’s Emelia all strapped in and ready to eat.
