Friday morning was very cold at our place. Although it isn’t record setting (I heard on the daily weather forecast that the record low for a day this week was –24 back in 1957) it was a record low for us. This it the coldest it has ever been in our time in our house. I thought the –3 that we experienced last winter was bitter. Friday night was forecasted to drop down to –12, but it was changed to just –6. Either way it’s another cold night.
I might have mentioned it before, but on very cold days like this I always make sure to check the weather forecast for Tupper Lake. If it is cold here it’s damn cold there. Sure enough it was a balmy –8 at our house this morning, but a chill –28 in Tupper. Insane cold.
It wasn’t planned, but I like the fact that I took the photo of my weather station at 5:55am Friday morning. It’s a horrible picture with the flash glare and dark background, but the timestamp adds a nice touch.
