A guy at work reintroduced me to music I last listened to (regularly) when I was at my last job over four years ago. Little did I know at the time that when I listened to Essential Mix replays on the BBC Radio 1 website that I was listening to something so popular with a large following. I just thought it was good music.
Now that I’ve had a chance to listen to a few DJs and put some music and names together I’ve found that I have a favorite DJ. He’s number 15 (at time of writing) in the world according to the DJ list, but in my book he’s number 1. Deadmau5 (“dead mouse”) is awesome!

Something I found interesting about Deadmau5 is that he is from Toronto. That’s not too far away from home. So many good DJs are from Europe that it is nice to see somebody from North America doing well.

yes.. he is awesome!!
did you know he is spinning live in boston the night before thanksgiving? one of my friends is going, and i’d love to go too, but there’s no way i can hack a night out like that in boston the day before turkey day.
if we ever get a chance to merge our music.. we’ve got tons and tons of the essential mixes on our drive that you can have.
