We Have Poo-Poo

It’s offical. We have poo-poo. Emelia took it upon herself to go to mommy tonight, grab her hand and drag her off the couch all the while saying “poo-poo” again and again. Sue thought nothing of it, but brought her to the bathroom to sit on the potty while she used the bathroom. And surprise surprise Emelia made a poo-poo in the potty! She did it all on her own, without any encouragement from us.

This was a big surprise for us since we were not home and did not bring Emelia’s potty with us. She used James old potty at Sue’s parents’ house. It hasn’t been used in months before tonight. I guess we have to endulge Emelia and get to work encouraging her to use the potty regularly. She clearly wants to use it. I think that seeing James use the potty and not diapers is a big influence on her. Not to mention she is a girl and picks up things faster than boys. Twenty months and using the potty. Excellent.
