Waiting for it to kick in

I’ve been feeling it since I got home and it wasn’t until around 8pm before I realized what it was; I’m feeling the beginning stages of being sick. I was downright exhausted when I got home from work and I just crashed when we went to Amy’s house for dinner. I laid down on James’ bed while the kids raised hell in his room. Around 8pm I added up the symptoms and sure enough I’m getting sick.
We made our way home, put the kid in her crib and proceeded to watch the third presidential debate. Afterwards we hit the sheets, where I laid for about an hour feeling like crap. So, instead of annoying Sue I’m waiting for my Robitussin to kick in and make me feel like I can sleep. Not to mention I’m no longer exhausted, but wired. I think I’ll crack open Dune and read a few pages to see if that helps bring on sleep. (My copy looks nothing like the one they have at Amazon; mine has a sticker price of $3.95 with a date of 1986.)
As for the debate all I can say is that McCain was rude and Obama was polite and gave good answers to questions and allegations. McCain made accusations and tried to make something out of nothing. On top of that he kept interupting and acting like a spoiled kid that wasn’t getting his way. Obama sat quietly and politely no matter what crap was tossed at him; he waited for his turn to respond like a polite and professional person. Nothing that has occurred in the past months has changed my views. My vote still goes to Obama and McCain looks worse every day.

we should start a club. i have a sore throat and raw chest, and sarah has a golf ball under her chin. pretty sure your dad is down with the plague right now too. my mom spent all day yesterday vomiting. it’s just that time of year where our bodies are acclimating themselves to the change of seasons. it’s a big, fat sucks-donit.
