Duma Key – Stephen King

Back in August I read (actually I listened to) my first King book in a long time: Duma Key. I had no idea what it was all about prior to starting it, but in the end I can say that if you are King fan then the story is average. Not a classic, but not bad either.
To clear up any confusion Duma Key is an island on the Gulf side of the Florida. The story is about what happens when a severly injured man moves to the island to recover from his injuries. Many strange things happend while he’s there and in the end you find out what it’s all about. Pretty basic.
The book was a good compliment to our vacation to the cape. I ripped a copy and put it on my ipod and got plenty of chances to rest and listen to most of the book. I finished up off when we arrived home.
