Juicy Tomatoes

Emelia loves her tomatoes. It’s really too bad that with the cooler nights rolling in that the garden is dying away quickly. Right after returning from vacation the zucchini and tomato plants started to go. Now, the zucchini is all gone and is part of the compost file. The tomato plants are slowly ripening the last of their fruits. We may get a couple of very small egg plants, but nothing else. Once the rest dies I’ll finish composting all of it and call it a season.

    that was awesome. was she christening the back of your new car with her tomato eating?

    No. This was taken in Sue’s car a couple weeks ago. Emelia was devouring a tomato while I went into BK to pick up a quick lunch. She hasn’t eaten in the new car, but no tomatoes as of yet. They are messy. :((
