Siemens Phone

We’ve had Seimens Gigaset (GigaVoice) phones for years now and have enjoyed them, despite their quirks. Recently I made a renewed effort to do some things with our phone, but was stopped dead in my tracks because I did not know the PIN. So, I fired up Google and made numerous searches and read countless blogs and forums looking for a fix. The most common answer didn’t work for my phone. And from what I’ve read Siemens won’t give you the solution if the phone is not under warranty and seeing as it is nearly 7 years old we’re way passed being able to use that option.

After days (this isn’t the first time I’ve done this) of off and on searching I found a forum site that had a fix for my phone (the phone listed was Gigaset 4200, but ours is a 4215). Eureka! It worked. If anything I hope this post can help somebody else with the same problem or at least if I need to reset the pin again I have this for reference.

Here is the really “easy” way to reset the password on a Gigaset 4200 series phone:

“Press menu and dial 8-9-3-7-6-2-0-0 to reset pin to 0000.”
