Purple Flowers

This year some of the bulbs that dad gave us (I can’t remember the name of them) bloomed for the first time. Last year they just grew some green leaves, but no flowers. This year they sprouted long, thick stems with nice purple flowers. At the rate these are growing I think that the bulbs will have split and we’ll be able to break them apart and make more plants.

these look just like my “bearded irises”. and they sure do get bigger and take to being split very well. very pretty.
