11 Month and 3 Year Pictures

This weekend marks 11 months since the birth of Emelia (the big day is coming very soon) and 3 years since the birth of James. It is hard to believe. I still have James’ 3 and 5 month pictures on our wall. What a difference time has made.

Early this morning we made our monthly trip to the studio to get some pictures taken. Both the kids did well. Emelia was in an okay mood, but I was able to get her to smile a few times for the camera without too much effort. James did well and promptly responded to the photographer’s request, “James, say ’stinky feet’” with “I don’t have stinky feet!” They did well together and we were able to get some decent shots of them both.

It’s too bad though that they seem to have screwed up Emelia’s 8 month pictures taken last October yet again. When they gave us the pictures originally a number of sheets had Emelia’s head cut off. We reordered them and again they made the same mistake. We reordered a second time and now they seemed to have lost them. So, they still owe us pictures from October. I guess something is always bound to go wrong with them.
