Sick Emelia

So, whatever Emelia had the other day seems to still be with her. Either that or she picked up something new again. I brought her home and she fell asleep during the short trip. She took a nap for about 1 hour. This comes about 1 hour after waking up from a nearly 3 hour nap at daycare. She was not normal self when she woke up and spent the evening in a miserable mood.
During the evening she had a mild fever, which turned a little worse later last night. So, the little one gets a day off with mommy. I would have been there, but I have a meeting I can’t reschedule. According to daycare other babies are having similar symptoms as Emelia, although, no fevers yet. Plenty of baby coughs going around though. Hopefully, the little one won’t be sick for much longer.

I can feel her pain. I woke up this morning sounding like a trucker with a deep, scratchy voice, constantly blowing gross stuff out of my nose, and coughing up stuff nastier than when I quit smoking. Ew!
