Doctor’s Visit

I went to the doctor office this afternoon. The guy didn’t have much to say other than it was probably a one time problem. I’ve always been in good health and my family doesn’t have a history of anything related so it is unlikely that the problem is serious. Most likely it was a common virus (the name eludes me) that caused the inflammation, which resulted in a lot of pain for me. I didn’t even have any of the symptoms associated with the more serious problem. In three weeks I get xrayed and the doc will give me a call to let me know what he sees. So, it looks I’m okay.

On a side note this doctor’s office was the most efficient and technologically advanced that I’ve ever visited. You go in and fill our paper work. Very shortly after you check in, get your stuff copied and pay your co-pay. They even have a card scanner to scan your insurance card. Back to the large waiting room with the big plasma TV. Shortly after you’re in the exam room while a nurse enters your information into her tablet PC. Then right after that the doc comes in with his tablet PC. Scratches out some notes and you’re out of there. No need to pay or anything after. Very efficient and they like technology. I was impressed.
