Another Car Seat

Over the weekend we decided that we would have to replace the seat that we bought. Instead of a 3 in 1 we went with a convertible seat, which is basically a 2 in 1. It’s big enough to handle a 35 pounder facing back and up to 40 pounds forward (after one year). Once Emelia surpasses 40 pounds she’ll move into a booster seat, which we’ll buy later.
We went with a Graco ComfortSport Convertible seat. 
It is not as bulky as the other, nor does it sit in such an awkward position. It also takes about 15 seconds to install versus the 15+ minutes that the other one took.
Emelia seems to like the new seat as well. I’m comfortable strapping her in since the connectors are easy to access and use, not to mention her first car seat was a Graco so they are familiar to us. That makes for a less fussy baby. She seems to like the position as well. The Graco puts her into a more upright position, instead of a laying position. The sun doesn’t glare directly into her face while riding in the car and in my truck she has a great view out the passenger side window. Today she spent the whole drive to daycare peering out the window at everything we passed, completely ignoring her toys.
So, I think we have a winner. I did some searched online and there was a recent recall on the seat, but not for a defect. Apparently the straps were not routed properly at the factory. AFAIK the solution is properly routing the straps. Not a big deal.
