Costume Try-out

We’ve been on the look out for a suitable and fitting costume for Emelia. Last weekend we tried on a 6-9 month “Tigger” costume that ended up being so small we almost didn’t get it off the little one. Tonight we tried on a couple that Amy picked up. Both are 12 month and fit well.
Costume 1: Dalmatian
Costume 2: “Tigger”
Both were cute, but Sue and I both like the Dalmatian costume best. James is going as a monkey this year.
Here’s the gang:
After trying on costumes Sue got to cutting up veggies and meat for fajitas. I cooked it up into a fine looking meal. Red and green bell peppers, onions, mushrooms and chicken with whole wheat tortillas. On the side we had refried beans, salsa and sour cream. Sue even whipped up a fresh batch of guacamole. Yummy!
For dessert we had Sue’s apple crunch.

I like the dalmatian better too. So cute.
Dinner looks great too. I’m not sure which looks better the main course or dessert….

Did I mention that dessert was a-la-mode? Apple crumb with vanilla ice cream. Yumm!
