And without further ado, the wedding photos. Since there so many photos I made it so that you have to view the post to see all the pictures. Click the title of this post to view it in its entirety.
My beautiful wife and our daughter all dressed up for the occasion. Too bad that neither was smiling at the time. Sue in her new qipao and Emelia in her dress with bib and new shoes.
Joe cool patiently waiting for the festivities to begin.
The interior of the Marist chapel.
Lily’s nieces playing the parts of flower girl one and two.
Mom and dad all dressed up.
The bridesmaids. Lily’s friend Sherry on the left is the maid of honor and Lily’s cousin Julie on the right.
The lineup. From right to left: Lily’s friend helping out coordinate the ceremony, Lily’s brother Jay playing videographer, Amy prepping James the “Right Bearer”, and Lily’s nieces the “Flower Girls”.
The bride arrives. Here she is walking in with her dad and Sherry doing some last minute prepping.
Lily and her dad walk down the aisle with her train flowing behind. What a nice aisle runner! It looks strikingly like the one that Sue and I would have used at our wedding had it been outside like we planned. We’re happy we held on to it and that somebody could use it. It would have been a waste otherwise.
The ceremony begins. From left to right: Julie, Sherry, Flower Girls, Photographer behind the girls, Lily, Dad, Jason, Judge in the background, Pintu the “Best Man”, Jay videotaping and the second groomsman.
The new couple.
The ring bearer and his proud mommy. She’s wearing her new qipao.
Emelia just soaking it all in.
Jason and Amy posing.
Sue took a picture of me, Emelia with my parents.
Emelia was enjoying herself immensely when the reception started. Here is a great shot of her making happy noises. By this time I was too exhausted to hold her in my arms and my shirt was already wrinkled before we got into the car to go to the reception. Hence, the baby in the carrier.
Mom and dad shared a table with Mike’s parents, Sherry, Pintu and a few others. They seemed to have hit it off well with Pintu. It was the first time I ever met him and he really is a nice guy to talk to. Down to earth and friendly.
Table number two is where we sat. Table number one is Lily’s immediate family’s table. The second head table is where we sat, although, Jason and Lily’s seats were almost always vacant. The only thing this picture is missing is me, Emelia, Amy and James.
Between the two head tables was the cake and a big fish shaped ice sculpture. This picture is awful, but the back wall is a nice red and the ice sculpture changes colors.
Sue playing photographer for somebody.
The DJ and his crew. Due to the mixed crowd the DJ announced most things three times. Once in English, a second time in Mandarin and the last time in Cantonese. Although it was loud the DJ did a good job.
One of the two wall scrolls of Jason and Lily.
The other wall scroll was used as a sign in sheet. The woman on the left in green is Lily’s sister in-law Fiona. You cannot tell from the photo, but she’s about 5 months pregnant with a baby girl.
Sue & Emelia with Amy & James.
A close-up of our table. The blue box in the middle is for James; it had a few little things to play with.
Dragon and
Phoenix.
The groom looking confused.
Amy helping keep Emelia asleep.
Sue helping keep James full of food.
Lastly, mom and dad taking pictures with the bride and groom.
With a baby to take care of I didn’t take my token plethora of photos. I’ll try to post some of Sherry’s and Amy’s photos once I get a copy.

The word for this pic is SASSY. That is a pic of a very sassy individual, or studdly. Either way he’s adorable.
