Three Months Later

It’s hard to believe, but it has been over three months since Sue’s accident and the insurance company is just now finishing up the last minute “details” related to the accident. It’s like pulling teeth dealing with these people. On the one hand you realize that they don’t see making us happy as in their best interest because we’re not their client. That makes little sense to me seeing as if they impressed us we could be potential new customers, despite the reason for meeting.

The guy that we’ve had to deal with is the biggest procrastinator and is absolutely awful at customer service. We have to call him repeatedly throughout every day of the week on the off chance that we can actually get him on the phone to ask him what is taking so long. He kept saying that he would get to it right away and would call back later that day. A week of phone calls later and still no progress. I believe that the problem is with him and not the company seeing as many others we spoke with went out of their way to help us. Too bad for them this guy was so bad.

Anyway, we’re happy that things are finally finished. A good feeling of closure. Hopefully, he didn’t screw up the last of the paperwork (it’s in the mail out to us right now) and we don’t have to talk to him again.

BTW if you haven’t noticed I haven’t actually said the name of the company. I’m annoyed, but not vengeful. ;)
