Good, Bad and Ugly 3

Good

Watching the little one crawl for the first time. Precious.
Watching the little one roll around the room because crawling takes too long. Scary.
Picking up your baby from daycare and having the tears and crying stop instantly followed by a tight hug.
Giggles and laughs never get old.
Reading books together.

Bad

Little hands attached to a little person that does now her own strength and only has limited control never turns out good. I’ve been pinched, punched, slapped and bumped heads with Emelia more times that I’d like to admit. The worst was the one time she bumped her head into my mouth. Teeth + soft head = plenty of crying.
Squirming and jumping at loud noises. Emelia is very touchy when it comes to loud and startling sounds. You better have a good hold on her because she’ll squirm right out of your arms and beat the crap out of you in the process (see above).
Getting swatted with a plastic toy.
Eating books together.

Ugly

Poo-poo clothes from daycare. Some days it almost looks like they wipe the poop off Emelia using her clothes. It’s almost never fresh so a lot of elbow grease is necessary to rub it all out.
Throwing books together.
