雪梅的旗袍

Here is what I was waiting to tell/show you. Emelia wore her first 旗袍 for her 5 month pictures! It’s a cute light purple one that her Ayi Lily bought her. We’ve been waiting for her to be big enough to put it on. It fits great.

The second outfit that she wore is a nice dress from LL Bean that her other Ayi, Amy, got for her. It is a coral color and has small pink crabs all over it. It’s a 6-12 month one and it fits just right. She’ll probably be able to use it a little longer this summer.

As usual Sue stocked up on sheets. I think we got 26 sheets this time! Thank goodness for coupons. That would cost us a ton more money without them. Only 7 more months of pictures to go. Then we’ll do pictures a little less frequently. The first year they change so much. After that things slow down a little.

While Sue picked out poses I ran off with 小梅 to Christmas Tree Shops to see what they had in stock. I ended up finding these small caged birds. They probably won’t last long, but they weren’t too much money. When you turn the switch on the bird chirps and moves around. It reminds me of the one that grandma has, although, these are very, very cheap imitations. I picked one up for 小梅 and one for James.

    I think she may be a model at some point, because she seems to enjoy her picture being taken. Not to mention she’s very cute.
