Upgrades

I sweat every time I do it, but I upgraded to the newly released WordPress 2.2. The main reasons for upgrading was to get the MySql character set setting (I’ve been modifying WordPress core code to do this up until now) and to get the new performance fixes. I’ll just have to wait and see how much faster things are. So far it seems about the same to me, but then again I’m not running a hugely popular site.
