Out with the old

I finally did it. I just had to make space on this site. I’m too cheap to layout money for a larger site so the only thing I could do was get rid of some old stuff. So, the old photo galleries got the chopping block. I moved away from YaPiG and started using Gallery for photos a couple months ago so it was already in the making.

I was planning on re-uploading all the pictures to Gallery, but most of them are just old and I don’t see the need to clutter up the site with them. So, I’ll add my new pics to Gallery and some time in the future (probably end of the year) I’ll have to remove other pics and videos. I archive everything at home, it is just that this site will not contain all of my pics and videos; it’ll just have a selection of the latest.

Not only am I too cheap to splurge on a larger hosting plan I’m morally against putting ads on my site. I won’t knock anybody else for doing it, but I just don’t want them on my personal site. So, I’m not making any money off this blog either.

That all being said I shall be posting more pics soon. I already have a backlog and need to get them up. If you’re really anxious all of Emelia’s pictures are on my Picasa site. The galleries there only include pictures of Emelia. Pictures without her in them are not posted there. I use that site strictly for sharing photos of the baby with coworkers. I don’t advertise the fact that I have this blog at work, although, a couple people know about it. I’m trying to keep the business and personal lives/worlds at a comfortable distance.
