Feifei’s Second Birthday

Feifei has reached the big 2! Last weekend we celebrated his second birthday. It feels like the past two years have just flown by. It is almost difficult to remember what it was like around here before he was born. Next year I’ll probably be feeling/saying the same thing about our baby.
To celebrate Sue’s parents had my parents and Mike’s parents over for dinner. They cooked up a good meal and we all got a chance to catch up with each other. Three very different families in the same house for a common purpose. Dad, unfortunately, got called into work (emergency) so he couldn’t attend. Mom was able to make it though. All of the pictures are posted in the this gallery.
We started off the evening watching and playing with James. Here he is playing with a present that I bought him. He loves to build things so I got him a bucket/dump truck like thing full of mega-blocks. He spent the afternoon and part of the night playing with them.
Later on he played with his other toys. His other favorite is a ball popper thing that Jason got him.

Dad made dinner. He made up large portions of sweet-n-sour, crispy shrimp (yum!), pork fried rice, chicken lo mein, mixed vegetables and wings.
Everybody ate their fill. When it was all done we packed up containers for home. Nothing but the pans were left.
And of course we had a birthday cake. A Nemo theme ice cream cake.
