We’re having a girl!!!

Today we went to the doctor’s for the last (or second to last) ultrasound. We got a very good look and it was clear that it was girl. So, mystery solved. Another girl is one the way. We’re both happy to know. Now we can get down to business and choose a name.
And yes she is a butterball. 28 weeks and she is already 2lb 14oz (+/-3oz). The baby’s weight is at the 71th percentile. What ever that means. According to our book at the end of the 6th month (27 weeks) the baby is about 2lb. At the end of the 7th month it will be about 3lb. We’re just starting the 7th month at she is closer to 3lb than 2lb.
So far 2 out of the 3 people I’ve told it was a girl has said “I know it is a girl.” How is that? We were only guessing ourselves. Amy was the only person that said she was only guessing when she said it was a girl.
After the appointment we treated ourselves to Dragon Buffet. All you can eat Chinese food. It was great, but now I’m stuffed. There is a reason why we don’t go there anymore; we always overeat. Now, I’m tired and we have stuff to do to get ready for tomorrow. Maybe a power-nap is in order.
