Last night we made our annual trip (second trip for us) to the Punkintown Fair. It’s a small fair hosted and run by one of the small, local fire departments. It’s a pretty interesting affair. It’s close to the hills so the people that attend are very interesting, but they all have a good time. And there never seems to be any bad vibes. No fights and no upset people. You gotta love that.
The rides that they have are really geared towards kids. You can ride them as adults, but your not really in for a very exciting time. This year we decided to see if Feifei could go on something. He kept eyeballing the slide, but the guy said no. The guy that was running another ride said okay. It was a slow thing that just turns and goes up and down.
So, we got some tickets and Feifei and I went for a ride. He had a ball! By the time the gondola went around twice he was squeaking with delight! His first time on a ride and he wasn’t scared. To be honest he didn’t even move. He just sat there with a big grin while I talked and played with him. It’s too bad that the pictures didn’t come out better.

When we got off Mike brought him right back on for another ride. We thought he might be bored, but he was happy for another ride. After that we made our way over to the bouncy room. We would have brought him there earlier, but there were big kids in it. Now, it was just smaller kids. He had a ball in there. We had to send another kid in there just to bring him out.

That was pretty much it for rides. Just to be backwards I told you about what we did just before we left. When we first got there we walked around to check out what food they had this year. We ended up eating a variety of things and even got some home baked goodies. It all goes to a good cause and honestly doesn’t cost much. I’m still hoping that I win the 42″ LCD in the raffle Saturday. Cross your fingers!
