New Weight Loss Plan

I feel like I’m on a new weight loss plan against my will. I’ve been feeling less than my normal self since Sunday. I got sick only on Sunday, but ever since I’ve been having an almost constant stomach ache and lack of appetite. I left a training class early yesterday afternoon to go to the doctor’s office.
When you first check you in a nurse weighs you, checks your blood pressure and heart rate. I was going to say something about my weight not being too accurate since I was fully clothed in heavy cargo pants and shoes, until I noticed the numbers on the scale. It showed I was a few pounds short of the weight I normally am unclothed. I guess a few days of light eating has made a change. It could also just be water weight-loss. We’ll see.
The doctor’s best guess at the cause of my symptoms is a virus. She said it should work itself out of my system after a few days. If I don’t feel better by Thursday I have to go back. She’s doing some blood work in the meantime to check my red blood cell count. Her other concern might be appendicitis, but seeing as that comes on pretty quickly, causes pain in a specific spot, it is unlikely that is causing me pain.
My lack of appetite keeps me from eating too much (stating the obvious). I had toast and soup on Sunday. Monday I ate only part of my lunch and dinner. Yesterday, the same. Today I had a roll for breakfast and almost a whole cup of soup for lunch. I feel like a stuffed pig and I ate less today than I usually could eat for one meal.
Today my stomach aches less, but still no appetite. I guess I’ll just have to see how things go tomorrow. Maybe I’ll be able to start eating a little more.

when in doubt, mix a couple of tablespoons of organic, unpasturized, raw apple cider vinegar with about 24 oz. of water and drink. it’ll kill whatever’s eating your stomach. unless, of course, it is your appendix, in which case your appendix & my gall bladder can get together & take a hike.

Wow dude not good. I gotta tell ya I have been feeling iffy for a couple of weeks myself. At my physical last week doc said it was stress (ya not at my job). After my visit I became ill myself yesterday. I came home from work early today because of it. Don’t worry though I didn’t catch it from you
. Lots of people are feeling it too. Maybe you caught it from me
. Anyway I lost 17 pounds in the 2 1/2 weeks. Damn what a diet huh. Anyways, at the rate the job is going for me lately I just know a big “F U” is comeing soon. I always blamed myself for not handling these things well cause of my attitude, but, this time it ain’t me.
. I,m thinking of selling out, buying a camper and put it in your driveway after telling these S.O.B.s to kiss #$%$#% a-s
. OOOOPPSS sorry went on a tangent there for a moment.
Love ya’s
Dad.

Shaun I hope you start to feel better soon, but PLEASE rest and take good care of yourself as this stomach virus is going around all over….and it is affecting each and every person differently. A girl I do Pet Therapy with is having it for the 2nd time and the 1st time she ended up in the hospital
and Vinnie at work got it Monday and still feels iffy and Dad has it too loosing lots of weight too quickly, I can only keep an eye on one of my men, Sue has the job of keeping an eye on you and taking good care of you
Don’t work at home or at your job and sleep lots when your body says to, that way you will get rid of this virus more quickly….It does sound more like a virus than your appendix..but time will tell….I hope I don’t get it…usually I get everything that comes my way…but my immune system is better with my LCD diet and exercise so I am hopefull I will pass on this one….Take Care, Luv U Mom

I’ve taken off the week from doing stuff around the house so no worries there. Just resting and doing light stuff. BTW I feel a little better today, but still not 100%. The mornings are worst. I’m feeling great by dinner time.
