Crazy Weather

I don’t know how the weather where you are is behaving, but here it seemed to be confused over what season it is. It wasn’t that long ago that we had temperatures nearly 0°F (-18°C). Then the weather warmed up and people were running around in shorts. It was nearly 54°F (12°C) at the end of last week. Two days later the temperature dropped down to 9°F (-13°C). My truck was nearly frozen yesterday morning. 
Today, it is back above freezing and the rain just coming down in buckets. I’m confused, what season is this?
