Chainfire - Terry Goodkind

So, I’ve reached the end of the Sword of Truth series, as it stands today. “Chainfire” was pretty good. It was frustrating to got through nearly 3/4 of the book and finally at the end the other characters see that they were wrong. It also took a long time to see that Kahlan is still alive.

It seemed like a short book though. Not too much happened, but enough to whet your interest. I started out by reading my cousin’s copy of the book, but I did end up buying my own copy at Media Play. I figure I should at least take advantage of the price. Although, BJ’s sells the paperback for just under $5, which isn’t too bad either. I’m very ready to get reading the next book in the series “Phantom“, but it won’t be out for a 7 months or so.

Now, I’m back to reading the last two books I have in the Wheel of Time series. I cracked open “Winter’s Heart” this morning, which is the first Jordan book I’ve read in nearly a year. I’m going to have to refresh my memory. I hardly remember what is going on and what the names are.
