Prepared Shredded Squid

It is always fun to go to the Asian grocery store. I usually end up going there by myself since I’m actually a lot closer to the store when leaving work than Sue. She has to drive past our place to go to the store. Last night we made a run to get some food. We were giong to Price Chopper, but ended up at Lee’s Market.
We picked up some food, but also picked up some prepared shredded squid to snack on. I’ve had it once before from a different store (and a different brand) and I still can’t believe that she ate it all. It smelled “fishy” to me and to me “fishy smell=bad fish”. The pack we got last night was a different brand and not fishy smelling at all. Actually, it was kinda like fish jerky. Sweet and salty. Not bad. I’ll let the guy at work try it. He is usually eager enough to try new foods. I’ve got him hooks on the tofu/vegetarian jerky. It is good too, just a bit oily feeling.
