Sue’s 30th Birthday

We celebrated Sue’s 30th birthday and dad’s 49th birthday this weekend. We went to Olive Garden with Mom, Dad, Amy, Mike and James Saturday night. It took around and hour to get a table, but we spent the time talking and playing with Feifei. He was quiet at first, but after a little while of sitting on my lap and playing with Dad he got a little more energetic. By the time we left he was having a great time and was full of piss and vinegar.

Dinner was pretty good. We filled up on salad and warm breadsticks like usual. I ate a little of my dinner, but Sue barely touched hers. I’ll probably eat my leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I’m in training this week and the class is about 5 minutes from our apartment. So, I can easily run home to eat.

Sunday night dinner at Sue’s parent’s house was in honor of Sue. Her mom laid out a feast and we all ate until we were stuffed. I took some pictures. They are posted here.. After dinner we had some ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins.

Sue got some pretty nice gifts, mostly from LL Bean. Jessie gave her a really nice stainless steel thermos. Mom and Dad got her a blue fleece. Amy and Mike got her a couple shirts. I picked up House MD Season 1 on DVD, a red cardigan sweater and some 8×10 picture frames. She loves it all, but I think tonight we are going to get the cardigan in a different color or get something else entirely. She has many cardigans already and isn’t that crazy about red. Oh well. I’m still learning.
