Thursday night

Tonight we are going to babysit Feifei. I have plenty of stuff to do besides watch the baby, but it is Amy and Mike’s anniversary so Sue offerred our services. I think she’ll be playing with him while I iron my shirts for next week (have to look good for work :)), pack our stuff for the trip home this weekend and maybe get the apartment picked up. Living in such a small space and being busy all the time we have a tendency to clutter the place up. I would also like a chance to clean. So, there is plenty to do.

I’m finally getting close to the end of the Soul of the Fire. It is not a bad book, but I’ve been just too busy thinking about Java and the application rewrite to read. Not to mention all the training we did last week and the sexual harrassment training I had to attend last Friday afternoon.

Now, I’m at the last 80 or so pages of the book and I’m eager to finish. I want to see how things turn out. I wasn’t so keen on all the writing about what was going on in Anderith, but you can see how Goodkind was trying to give you some history and a different perspective when Richard came there. Maybe I’ll get a chance to read some of it before bed tonight. It is Survivor and CSI tonight though. Oh well.
