Lake Minnewaska

We took a trip out to Lake Minnewaska State Park this past Saturday. It was great getting outdoors to enjoy the last of this nice weather. Since we had the day off from work and we haven’t been to the park in a while we were more than eager to go. We brought Amy, Mike and the baby with us.

We started off by having a small picnic of premade sandwiches and water. Then we walked the trail that goes around the lake. Sue and Amy took turns with Feifei in his carrier. He had a great time. He really likes being outdoors and he was wide awake for the entire walk. He didn’t get fussy at all. Driving home the two girls and baby were fast asleep.

I didn’t get tired until about 8pm Saturday night. I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Sue and I just finished having a late dinner with my parents and were watching a movie together. We were watching Alexander. It was okay. Not a great movie and not terrible. It just didn’t seem to have a plot. No direction. Oh well. It was a good end to a good day.

Now it is time to get back to work. Unless Amy grabbed the camera when she left I won’t be able to post the pictures from Saturday until this coming weekend.
