Drupal

I actually starting to test Drupal, hoping it would be a suitable replacement for WordPress. I like to use WordPress for this site, but it is not as flexible as I would like. However, after trying Drupal I think I’ll just modify WordPress to do what I need. Drupal is powerful, but it is cryptic, has a high learning curve and you need to learn another language just to find out what each part is called. It was funny to see an article on drupal.org comparing WordPress and Drupal, which highlighted the same problems I was facing.

So, for now Xianiu.org will continue to be published using WordPress. I may give Drupal another try in the future, but only if I get bored and have a month dedicated to learning it.
