Huafei’s baptism

Feifei’s baptism was yesterday. It went pretty well. The actual baptism was incorporated into the Sunday morning mass. The baby was very good all morning and actually fell asleep during mass. Pouring water on his head while he was asleep didn’t go over too well. He was crying away when that happened. After some soothing word from his mom the priest put some special perfume on his head and he was back to being a happy baby again.
The party afterwards went well too. It was mostly Mike’s family and friends that were able to come to the ceremony and party. We had a good time eating burgers and grilled chicken. The cake was good too. From a place named Vanilla Bean. A good cake, but the frosting was extremely sweet. We didn’t have too much leftover food, but there is enough to make up a few lunches or dinners. We’ll go over to eat some leftovers tonight.
I didn’t get a chance to take too many photos during the day since I was manning the video camera for Amy. I’ll post the pictures I have soon.
