Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – J.K. Rowling

I finished reading “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” yesterday. It was well worth reading. Plenty of interesting things happen, but I was a little dissappointed that there were no big adventures. As the second to last book in a long series you can see that the purpose of the book is to do a setup for the last book.

I wrote ruin it by writing about all the things that happen, but there are things about Malfoy continuing on with the assignment he was given in the fifth book. Harry, Ron and Hermoine dating stuff. Very little about Quidditch and Snape.

Since we bought both the book and the book on CD I have to start listening to the story on our drive home. My cousin got us hooked on the CD versions of the book and we couldn’t resist buying this one on CD too. The same guy has done all the reading for the first 6 books and he does a great job, so they are good to listen to. And they keep you from getting bored on long car trips.
