Flight of the Fallen – Mary H. Herbert

I finished reading “Flight of the Fallen” over the weekend, which is the second book in the Linsha trilogy. Although, it is not the best book I’ve ever read, it certainly is better than the first book of the series. I won’t spoil the plot by telling you what happens, but some things of interest do occur. Some of which you should see coming after reading the first book, others took me by surprise.

The book comes with a glossary in the back, much like the books that Robert Jordan puts out. It helps, but isn’t necessary. These books are nowhere near the level of complexity as the Wheel of Time Series.

I’m interested enough to see what happens in the third book “Return of the Exile” when Linsha is taken to the Tarmak homeland. (Not a spoiler if you read the back cover of the third book) However, I had plenty of time to kill on Sunday and didn’t have the third book with me. So, I’m reading a new one called “Amber and Ashses” by Margaret Weis and, of course, we bought the latest Harry Potter book. I got to read the first 40 or so pages of HP before Sue took it to read.
