Babysitting Feifei

We had Feifei all to ourselves last night. Amy and Mike had to go to class for the baby’s baptism so I offerred to pick the baby up from daycare. We spent some time in Toys R Us looking for something to play with. I was dissappointed with the selection. I think this TRU store is too small. We ended up getting a small piano like toy that plays music or has dogs barking and a couple of Dr. Suess books; “There’s a Wocket in my Pocket” and “Green Eggs and Ham”.

Feifei had a good time playing with the toy by himself. Now that he is getting bigger and more attentive he really likes you to read books or sing to him. He really knows the difference, which is very cool. The music that the toy plays are short parts to well known nursery rhymes and lullabies.

While I played with the baby Sue made a very good dinner of stringbeans with beef and preserved vegetables, and a tomato, egg and shrimp dish. Both were very good and I look forward to eating them for lunch. She is a wonderful cook and always comes up with something new to eat. It’s my turn to cook tonight. Not sure what I’m going to make just yet.

I’ll post some pictures from last night as soon as I can. I tried to take a couple of movies as well. I’ll try to get them posted as well. It is too cute to watch him kick his legs and make noises when you play with him and a blanket.
